Sausage is what made Bob Evans, but as his restaurant and grocery empire grew, he added homestyle recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Bob’s fried chicken recipe came straight from his wife Jewell, known for her seasoned crust and farmhouse sides like mashed potatoes and coleslaw.
